Our story
Raising the bar for the everyday handkerchief
When Mr. Jayanti Gemavat founded Bhairav Corporation in 1989, most handkerchiefs on the market were low quality and stitched on only three sides. He set out to make combed cotton handkerchiefs that were both useful and good-looking.
Mr. Shailesh Gemavat, a science graduate from Mumbai University, joined to take the business into organised retail. Bhairav was among the first to bring branded hankies into India's modern retail stores, and later added boxer shorts.
Today we specialise in private labels and are expanding into scarves, towels, garments, socks, ties and accessories, with quality checks from raw material to dispatch.

Are you a handkerchief manufacturer or a trader?
We are a handkerchief manufacturer in India, not a trader. Since 1989 we have woven our own cotton fabric in Bhiwandi and Ichalkaranji and stitched and packed in our Mumbai-area unit, with capacity for up to 36 lakh handkerchiefs and 1 lakh boxer shorts a month.
Do you supply handkerchiefs in bulk and wholesale?
Yes. We supply bulk handkerchiefs and wholesale handkerchiefs to more than 122 distributors across India, to modern retail chains, and for corporate gifting. Send us your quantities for a wholesale price.
What are your handkerchiefs made of?
Our handkerchiefs are 100% cotton, woven from combed cotton and 2-ply yarn, AZO-free, and hemmed on all four sides. We make men's handkerchiefs, ladies' handkerchiefs and kids' handkerchiefs in classic white, solid colours and striped borders.
Do you make handkerchief gift boxes?
Yes. QPANT handkerchief gift boxes come in packs of 3, 5 and 6, in a red window box with a hang tab for retail display. Gift sets for festivals and corporate gifting can be packed to order.
Do you make private label handkerchiefs and boxer shorts?
Yes. Private label is one of our specialities. We can put your brand on the box, the label or the hem of handkerchiefs and men's boxer shorts, packed to your retail specification.
Do you export handkerchiefs?
Yes. We are a handkerchief exporter from India and ship our products to buyers in countries including New Zealand and the United States.
Where is your factory?
Our office and unit is in Sativali, Vasai (East), District Palghar, Maharashtra, near Mumbai, with weaving units in Bhiwandi and Ichalkaranji.
